This series contains correspondence, subject files and legal publications that support the administration of the Attorney General's office. Sub-series I contains administrative correspondence to and from Attorney General Betty Montgomery, who held the post from 1995 to 2003. Some of the correspondence relates to official social events for attorneys, and congratulatory letters from the Attorney General and division heads regarding accomplishments of agency attorneys in litigation. Sub-series II contains subject files related to litigation and law enforcement issues, and publications from the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG). Also in Sub-series II are notes, pamphlets, small publications and other ephemera from a variety of professional conferences, meetings and training sessions conducted or attended by agency staff.
